I'm going to Bali this Oct. Will be staying in Hard Rock Hotel. Was wondering do i need to pay airport tax when i'm coming back to kl from bali and how much is it?

I'm going on 20th too.. but i'll be there till 23rd only.. its a surprise Birthday escapade for my bf.. due to work, both of us can't take long leave.. so i just plan to relax though.. pray hard that rainy season won't come early this year.....

hehehe... noob on the loose.. hey, was wondering.. if i just want to look see @ Bedugul & Tanah Lot how long does it take? i'm staying @ Hardrock Hotel.
What's the distance like from HRH to Bedugul and Tanah Lot? (i mean, which 1 is nearer to HRH?) And how far is it from Bedugul to Tanah Lot? hehe.. trying to plan my itinerary

oh yea, i'll go bedugul & tanah lot in the morning. I know its nicer to go during sunset but my schedule is very tight.. (plan to spend 1/2 day for Tanah Lot, Bedugul and if possible go Ubud for lunch) eg. 9am - 2pm then back to hotel cos want to dip in the pool/SPA.. heheh..

Also, any recommendation of babi guling nearby HRH? (sorry for the muslim friends) i heard the best is in Ubud.. how long it takes from HRH to Ubud then? will it be on the way if i want to go Bedugul, Tanah Lot & Ubud?

my trip was supposed to be relaxing.. just lazed by the beach.. cos its a surprised trip for my bf bday escapade.. i rushed to book air tickets for the midyear sale.. so its just 3D/2N stay as both of us can't really take leave..
but if we go Bali w/o visiting Bedugul & Tanah Lot doesn't look like we stepped our foot to Bali.. so just planned a quick trip to the most famous place lor..

thanks stimix, yeah was doing some research during llunch time.. yeah.. i think i cant make it to 3 places in 1 day.. so i think Morning i'll go Bedugul then to Tanah Lot and back to Kuta to hunt for spa.. then to Jimbaran Seafood for dinner.. hehehe.. dowan to rush ourselves.. its supposed to be relaxing..

Here's my "ideal" itinerary. You may input if i can squeeze in few more places here n there cos i'm not sure if my plan is workable..

Day 1
Arrive & Check in @ HRH, Kuta.
Leave hotel around 4pm to Tanah Lot & Uluwatu

Day 2
Free & Easy @ Kuta (Beach/Spa)

Day 3
Day tour to : Sukawati/Tegalalang, Kintamani, Ubud & Bedugul

Day 4
Free & easy b4 going back to KL..

Does my plan looks ok? Will send out emails to hire driver..

Say if i want to take taxi (bluebird) from Kuta to Ubud, approx how much will it cost? cos i dowan to kena slaughter.. hehehe.. Kuta to Ubud is about 1hr 30mins drive right?

now i'm in dilemma.. been changing my plan like nobody's biz.. can someone just help me out? hehehe..

is it possible to go Kintamani, Ubud (lunch), tanah lot & uluwatu in a day? I'm staying in Kuta..

I oni got 4d/3n in Bali.. 1st & 2nd day we just want to relax around Kuta area.

does Lia cafe provide transport from hotel to jimbaran? cos i called up HRH, they said usually the restaurant will provide the transport..

ohh.. probably i'll go for greyshadow's recommendation.. Sharkeys.. they provide transport..

hmm.. if i take cab to Jimbaran should be ok right? cos Its slightly further than airport.. so if i take bluebird, it should cost around 40K-50K?

yeah, have to check in the bags.. i checked with the airport fellas d.. they said check-in no prob.. oni hand carry got certain limits.. 100ml.. unless you buy their wrap..

yeah, i know i can buy it @ duty free..or even in Bali.. just that i dowan to risk the chance that my bf will find out.. i'm giving him a surprise.. packed my pressie, a muffin (i baked myself - to replace cake), and wine lor..
