I have mentioned in my traveling blog Holidays in Bali, Dec to March is overcast most days with rain, although Dec is school holidays in Malaysia but Bali is not a peak season for tourist due to its weather.

Just wondering if 1 night in Ubud is enough to settle things there. Will be there for 4 nights, will it be better to split 2 nights in Kuta, 2nights in Ubud, 3:1 or just stay in Kuta for the whole 4 nights. Will it make any difference?

Ok, u got my permission but pls give some credits to me in your blog  biggrin.gif
I stayed there for 2 nights. Nice place but no TV and aircond though (i stayed the cheapest room).
However it is cool enough, i can said cooler than Kuta with aircond.

This is the photo of their swimming pool there at Greenfield.

Wow place looks good! I booked the room with aircon but I think all rooms have aircon now. Can't wait to go and check that place out. Thank you for the photo smile.gif

If you want, Tegal Sari is also managing another villa called Rumah Semesta, which is attached to Tegal Sari.

The rooms quoted to me when I made enquiries:

Villa Sesapi downstairs - with 1 king size bed, private pool, cable TV, fridge, free internet access, kitchen and dining area, it is a compound with garden and without rice field view with a rate of US$ 200+ 10% tax per night excluding breakfast.

Villa Sesapi upstairs - with 2 single beds (without private pool, kitchen & dining area), cable TV, minibar, free internet access, with rice field view with a rate of US$ 100 + 10% tax per night excluding breakfast.

Villa Sarang Bambu - the room downstairs with 1 king size bed, private pool, cable TV, fridge, free internet access, kitchen, dining area and outdoor bathroom, it is a compound with garden and partial rice field view from the pool with a rate of US$ 150+ 10% tax per night excluding breakfast.

If you have enough people guess you could get the pool villa. They sent me pictures too and it's gorgeous!!

Motormouth,

How do you find Jati3? Pictures always look nice but once you actually stay in it , it could be different story altogether

Actually I kinda regret to splurge that much in Bali. better to spend elsewhere which have "wow " factor. At Ritz, they replenish juice 30min when at pool, so when dinner time, I no mood already to eat. Too full with orange juice. Phuket the next.

erm, NOT as amazing as it looks, thats for sure.
hehehe .... though it was quiet and rather secluded. a small alley leads to the hotel, from Monkey Forest Road.

cleanliness ok, comfort also fine, for it's rather cooling at night.

we were promised 4 air-cond rooms (2 double 2 triple), but in the end they ranout of triple rooms.
hence we got a family suite, with 2 queen beds (one king i think), for the same price,
but without the air-cond.
