I think it's way more dangerous in Jakarta/Medan part of Indonesia, and not so much in Bali.
no matter you're in Ubud or Kuta.

plus we went during the anniversary of the bombing (12/10/2002) itself in Kuta,
and the scene was far from dangerous everywhere.

Dirty Duck Diner warrants a visit, if not so much for the food, maybe for the environment itself.

Ibu Oka on the other hand, may NOT suits everyone's taste.

For drivers options, try others on page 1 post 1. Otherwise rent yourselve a car...pretty cheap ~ langkawi rate. From forumers here, renting a car + driver ~ 300K rupiah/day & renting the smallest Suzuki Jimmy ~ 120Krupiah/day

Anyone stayed in Greenfield Ubud before? I just booked one night and it looks like it's quite hard to secure a place there. The remaining 3 nights will be spent in Kuta, still looking for a decent hotel to stay though.

I stayed there for 2 nights. Nice place but no TV and aircond though (i stayed the cheapest room).
However it is cool enough, i can said cooler than Kuta with aircond.

we r trying to out from our hotel at 715am to Ulun Danu temple then around 10am, we going to Kintamani volcano to hav a buffet lunch there, then we going back to Ayun Temple then to Tanah Lot..

do u think which place i should skip bcoz i juz hav 1 day to travel all this place if time not allowed? thx for the help..

Tourist seldom stay in Denpasarlah it just a normal Indon city, nothing really interesting there, it's either at Kuta, Tuban Seminyak, Nusa Dua & probably the nearest to Denpasar Sanur beach
