Do we require to pay for Fire Insurance now?

This is what i think also, not make sense pay fire insurance where the structure not even there. But MayBank (i get loan from MB) ask to pay for fire insurance now....
Anyone have same issue? |

For those who taken Maybank Loan, please take note.
I have request to waive the fire insurance but rejected due to Maybank not in the F.T.R.R & I policy. Not sure i am the only one get into this problem : ( Attached thumbnail(s)
