Can't seems to find any specific thread to ask hence decide to open one instead. Anyone know the availability of the lens mention in the topic above in Malaysia? They have release the 35mm F1.4 art series in Malaysia, but not sure when will the cheaper 30mm F1.4 art line be available here.
Anyone got any information on this? |

How much is this lens selling for in Malaysia?
Bit sad because I have bought the old Sigma 30mm F1.4 lens only 6 months ago. But I do need a 50mm upgrade more than a 30mm upgrade so I wonder if they are making the 50mm (Art) F1.4? |

Tested this lens in one of the shop too in Lowyat and quite impress with its quality of build and image quality as well ... tempted but yet to decide whether this should be the replacement or to get UWA lens.

Bought imported version of this lens and test it out at an event, the pictures sometimes sharp sometimes not, kinda frustrated what caused it.
After bringing back and done some more detailed test according youtube, stacking a few batteries and shot using f1.4 and tripod at different lengths. found out it front focused beyond 1m range and have to send for calibration. For ppl who considering this lens maybe you should fully test (0.3, 0.6, 1, 2) during purchase to avoid frustration. |
