I need some buying advise/suggestions from this group :-

Currently using a very old MX blue keyboard I found in my store room, still works great!!!... to give you an idea how old is the keyboard, it have a switch for 8088/80286 at the back... haha

I wanted the following features :-
- LED backlit for night time gaming... ( red or blue )
- MX red or MX brown ( MX blue is too noisy )

I filtered down my brands/models to either CM Storm or Ducky...

Should I get the :-

CM Storm Quickfire TK MX Red/ RED LED, RM339
Like the CM Storm TK keypad innovation/design and low price
( dun like the MX brown with white LED )
or

Ducky Channel DK9087 Shine 2, MX Brown/ Blue LED, RM429
Like the Ducky for MX Brown + blue backlit

Is the RM100 extra worth it to go for the Ducky ?
Are all MX switches the same quality ?

( feels a bit guilty to spend more than RM400 on an extra keyboard!!! )

Can use the extra $$$ for an armrest/accessories...

they save the money to qc and hired razer show girl already, no qc.

Everytime when people are looking for keyboards or suggestions... this group will sure ask them to check out their sigs LOL

Beside Razer and logitech, the rest I don't think so.

I've already despise Razer MKB and their peripherals way back,
As for Logitech...I can't believe I said this...their mouse switch sucks, and the MKB G710+ LEDs DEAD issues are... !
Heard no complain for the duckies, leopard and vortex though...well not that I can think of.

I have my eyes fixed on Corsair K70 actually.. can't poison me

TKL = tenkeyless means less key than normal keyboard

PBT is a type of plastic Polybutylene terephthalate.

u are confuse between abs and pbt.

Shine 2 is pretty standard so it'll be easy to find sets on TaoBao. Unless there's a forumer selling a second hand set, there's no local vendors who sell them.

Well, maybe it's just the keycaps. I haven't change the keycaps yet. The spacebar have minimal friction with the frame since the first day I owned her. So sometime spacebar keycap stuck, sometime not. I guess it's just me. But give me a bad experience. I'm not saying that Ducky are bad, but I think I'm not trust them for now. Haha... But I'm sure I'll get the TKL Shine 2 next time.
