Yeah, I actually took it out. Never really seen and touched this type of keycap actually. Just read about it online lol.

Finding it a little weird now lol. The 37keys are pbt sandy feel whereas the others has some coating.

Did Edifier say anything about the Filcos?

I'm never a fan of that weird layout. I'll still recommend you the POKER 2 because it looks so awesome!

You still intend to leave your kb in your office?

I wanted to sell my Filco. I would never part it with it now. After buying the Ducky, then only I realised how great the Filco really is. Maybe I'll just get a MJ2 TKL for work. Anyone selling?
*
Filco really that good?

I'm still waiting for my Filco Mj2 Camo TKL to arrive

LOL, imagine that you are incharge to buy keyboards for your company, and you purchased Realforce for all of them.

The moment they see the price, they actually think you songlap lvl over 9000, LOL.
*
Lol sound like government spending. Later 1st page of newspaper, buying 1k value keyboards lol. Sounds like corruption

afadzil21 I recall you saying that Filco's > Ducky Shine 2

Have you tried the Rosewill RK9100? I think that has even inferior quality than the S2

Technically I can desolder a keyswitch from one key I never use and replace it right? Cherry mx browns. Cuz I don't know where to send it for servicing.
*
I've got lots of spare brown switches. I can help you solder them back too... for a price biggrin.gif

Mechanical keyboard KIT

Alright we may be able to offer some kits to local market

87/104
Plate/PCB mount
Led holes
ABS, PBT, or no keycap
Plastic casing or aluminium casing
Detacheable USB
Costar stabilizer

Now, discuss and decide. This wont be as customizable as gh60 but will save you a hell lot of pain. If poor response then we wont offer custom boards anymore. Whether this is doable or not will depend on the response. Price will be more or less the same as the vortex oni
*
No switches customization?

QUOTE(sunblaze @ May 14 2013, 05:21 PM)
Hi everyone,

Looking for a mechanical keyboard, budget of RM300 or less. No glossy surface/keys, please smile.gif

Things that don't matter to me:
-LED
-TKL/full
-Macro keys/programmable keys/all that jazz

Things that matter:
-Reliability/quality
-Warranty

TLDR: Something basic, good value for money, and I'm guessing that my budget is considered "entry level". Will decide what color switches to get with a hands-on when doing the actual shopping.

Planned use: gaming @ home (SC2, etc), some typing ala chatting/CV updating.

Any recommendations as to what model/brand I should look at?
*
I'd say cm quickfire rapid for tkl or Rosewill RK9000I. You seem new. I'll recommend the Brown switch for you.

Just add a few LED and go through all the hassles, time and money is inconvenient  sweat.gif

Unless building whole keyboard lah
