No, the LED on the caps lock, num lock when you enable them. Those LED are like lasers, shoot through the wall.

Topre is rubberdome, expensive rubberdome. ^^ A bit tactile, 55g is the best. Cannot say rich people feel about their uber expensive topre.. these people might have sold all their MX board because they prefer Topre. You say like that, later offend people only.
*
The 'rich' people thing was meant as a joke. Hope no one is offended as I can afford a Topre, just that no matter how much you can afford something, doesn't mean you just go and buy it.

Qoute from WASD's blog,

"The biggest complaint about the V1 was the brightness of the LEDs. We switched over to a lower intensity red LED and made the LED holes only 1.5mm wide. The LED is recessed so the light is very subtle."

the HHKB is really getting to me. but dat price.....

Yeah. True, that's why I was trying to get a Keycool 84. Apparently their only available in MX Black, Blue and Red. No brown switch. Tried Noppoo Choc mini as well. No joy. Same as Keycool 84. Might as well just go with a TKL instead even though I still prefer the 84 key layout as it's more compact and easy to carry around if I need to.

You should try the Grifiti I'm using. It's much better than any other wrist rest I've tried. Perfect height for Ducky and Filco. Way cheaper than those by the way. I ordered directly from Grifiti and was delivered in about 2 weeks. Pretty sweet deal. A groupbuy will save quite a bit on postage.

This is the one I got: http://www.grifiti.com/products/grifiti-fa...d-large-laptops

They've got different sizes for TKL and even 60% KB's.

Impulse brings in DAS keyboard

Hate the glossy finish on DAS. Matte is always better. No fingerprint. DAS does have a new KB out though, a Red switch board. Check it out: http://www.daskeyboard.com/model-s-professional-quiet/

I have no idea why they are marketing red switches as quiet. Unless they've put in some dampeners or o-rings to keep the thing a bit more quiet than a usual red switch board.

yes, thick pbt. not like most normal pbt.
*
Thick PBT's seem lower profile than the ABS keycaps. Or did you choose the lower profile keys? Though I don't really go much for white because of how dirty they tend to get.

Which Ducky MKB is good? How much is it?
*
Ducky Zero's seem nice. Heavyarm sells them at RM299. Good for a first time MKB buyer. And they have dedicated volume control and mute keys.

Those prices! I'd rather spend that much money on a new mobo and CPU then on a keyboard. But to each their own I guess.

those Datamancer keyboards are like art piece, not only keyboard anymore,
like you buy a Mercedes Benz, u buy kancil also can drive mah...
but some people go and buy Rolls Royce..... tongue.gif

I think they're more like display pieces just to show you have money to burn, even though the thing would be a chore to type on. There's one that costs $2,500!

Looking at those keys, typing would be a real chore. They do mention "mechanical keys with a soft tactile click". I suspect MX Blue keyswitches there.
