Plate must desolder, some plate design in a way that you dont need desolder can remove top cover already. But to standard keyboard there is no way.
Even though just pull the top part I am not sure how, as I have no experience with pcb mount, unless u get me a poker1 tongue.gif
*
Here. Though, I never try it on my PCB mounted board yet, because can't seems to find suitable tools. I still using the desolder and open way to reach the spring.

Yea, but I don't want this PLU anymore.
The PCB itself can bend and curve wan after i desolder everything.
unlike I see other pcb which is straight and firm.  sweat.gif
the plate also made of cheap metal wan.

No wonder lah can sell so cheap haha
*
I mean you harvest the existing switch base and swap with your new PCB mounted switch.

If you actually take a break from all these and come back later, you'd realize how silly you may, or may not, have been biggrin.gif

Ask yourself this...back when you were a kid, you'd walk into the toy aisle every time you get into a departmental store. How did you stop that cycle? biggrin.gif

My forecast is that we would complete a sale to end user for a Realforce 87 perhaps once every 6 months. Selling to dealer don't count, we don't want products to be stuck at dealer and cannot be sold. As for TKL, they do move but extremely slow as compared to full size. There is little to no cost difference in losing the extra keys. Some people think it is not worth paying the same for less. There's also the added fear of not being able to adapt to the lesser key layout. Therefore many 87 key-ers tend to have more than 1 boards.

Thats where 96 to the rescue. whistling.gif

Using Filco Majestouch 2 Blue and keycaps are the Vortex Stealth dye sub from kaiserreich.

I wonder if anyone is selling the inserts here in LYN. It would be useful to have more so that I don't have to pull out the inserts everytime I change keycaps...
*
Keycool used to sell them separately, but now I think you need to opt for the one supply by wadskeyboard.

Seriously, the pad printed RGB modifiers doesn't justify the whole feel, quality and class of the keyboard. Change it if possible. sweat.gif

Did you check with impulse gamestore in jb? They are called pbbseller in the forum. We did deliver orange led red and blue switch to them

BTW, since you stated "in Malaysia", then a definite answer are those larger retail shops in LYN.

gosh look at the size of that spacebar....

The major problem you need to deal with after taking time to familiarize with the weird layout is to find a 2X LeftShift and 4.5X spacebar.

Those control and shift on the right are useless. Should be pg up dw native

But from my personal experience, "?" is inseparable from Shift. Take a look at SS6Gv2 layout, a lot of ppl headache at the right shift.

saw thru the whole thread.. what does 75% 60% kb means? and what is PBT?
*
Normal keyboard you see out there are fullsize keyboard, with around 104keys normally.

When we cut off the numpad corner, the keyboard now remain around 87 keys, thus we call it 87 and some other context call it tenkeyless.

60% is what remain after you cut off the F-keys, numpad, cursors and home cluster. It is also normally referred as mini.

75% is a more rare layout and hadn't be standardized to a definite layout yet, so no much explanation on it. But it's normal size is like that of KBT Race.

For PBT, you need to know the material that normal keycaps made of.

Most normal keycaps are made of ABS and some backlit keycaps made of PC. They are all different types of plastic. PBT and POM on the other hands are also plastic but more of a premium choices over normal ABS.
