mac mini core duo, anybody have one?

i'm planing to replace my current desktop to a mac mini. there are few questions i would like to ask;
1) does it requires a special monitor or so? could i plug it with my current 17" CRT monitor? 2) my daily usage are surfing, e-mailing, chatting (with webcam), audio visual entertainment and some documents processing. can all these be done with a mac mini? i'm new to apple products  |
