i'm planing to replace my current desktop to a mac mini. there are few questions i would like to ask;

1) does it requires a special monitor or so? could i plug it with my current 17" CRT monitor?
2) my daily usage are surfing, e-mailing, chatting (with webcam), audio visual entertainment and some documents processing. can all these be done with a mac mini?

i'm new to apple products

1) yes, mac mini bundles with a DVI to VGA adapter, so it's compatible with your current crt........
2) yes, but chatting - with a third party webcam or a separate iSight purchase....

1. No "special" monitor required, any CRT or LCD with VGA/DVI will work.
2. Yes, all that and more. smile.gif But I'm afraid you have to boot into Windows for videochatting 'cuz the current versions of MSN Messenger/Skype on Mac do not support videochat yet.
