ori rim also doesnt mean pothole proof, one pro told me , if u want your rim be safe from pothole, not only your rim have to be strong, but also depend on the tyre size you chosen.the best is keep your wall more than 100 height ( let say 215width 50 profile tyre, 215*0.50=107.50) ,then you are good to go.
