just curious... what's the standard Samsung charger's rating (how many A)? also, still got hissing problems or any other charger related problems?

usually this can happen especially if you have lots of apps... best to do factory reset. otherwise, can also try to slowly clear the cache/ data of the apps individually...

this is actually one pain with android that i hope can somehow get sorted out. i'm curious if this happens for iPhones? i mean... after firmware update... in my experience with android... always better to do factory reset/ wipe. else, you get overheating, battery drain, etc... dem painful. :S

this is the painful part. what is left is what you get when you first got the phone. anything else that you installed will no longer be there.

however, there is an option when you do a reset to restore everything to the phone (i think when you enter your gmail account during the setup). you can opt the have everything installed back for you.but if you have games, etc... unless there is a export game data option, otherwise, you lose your game progress.

same with sms... you lose it unless you have done a backup first. speaking of sms... i've never gotten the samsung service to successfully backup my sms. stupid service. usually i just use the apps called sms backup and restore.

anyway, managed to get myself an s4... not my unit la but getting to play around for a few days. first thing after unboxing... software update.

so far... some interesting new features like that emergency help thingy (so sort of panic button). then there's the hovering thingy... nice to have since its also on note. but at least no need the stylus.

still exploring... but the screen... wow... nice...

if i remember correctly, there's a legal definition for lifetime warranty anyway... i think x years after the product is no longer manufactured or something...

so 10 years could actually be better.

interesting... i got a slight discount (did not have to pay the rrp of rm2199) and was even given a free SP -- brandless SP but still better than nothing). i've to say that i'm very disappointed with two of the more popular outlets in Klang Valley (DirectD & 1Gadget) for imposing compulsory bundles.

still... thanks to them... i found a new outlet. might just start to get from this new 'supplier' of mine for future phones.

initial impression... with most of the sensor thingies enabled...

* battery life not so impressive (then again, first charge only -- so see how)
* a bit laggy when opening and closing apps. but scrolling between screens seems ok
* the air gestures are quite impressive. even the scrolling thingy with the eyeball/ head is quite good.

if note3 is anything like s4, dem... i'm gonna be very tempted. but then again, if note3 is gonna be physically bigger, hard for me to accept. 6" is a bit too big for me. 5.5", can still accept.

SME only give 1 year warranty. that one states 2 years...

just bought SanDisk 32gb class 10 card. put into phone and copy 4.4gb file. but it stops towards the end... how to be able to copy files bigger than 4gb?need to format it to another format?

Zoom = High Res camera
Active = Rugged S4

and now... GE = Google Edition aka stock android.

if no hand waving magic, no head tilt tracking... no finger hovering magic... then s4 is just another piece of hardware... no?

i prefer semi la... some of the stuff that Samsung bundle with... like FlipBoard... i find it useless. Dropbox is still ok.

but if you dun use the Samsung email apps, then you dun get that email preview thingy that you can get with the bundled emails apps... u know... hover your finger over it...
