Hi all.... I've sent email request to samsung regarding Polaris Office for document editor few days ago...

Just now Samsung represent called and he says : Polaris Office Document Editor will not be on S4.. & he suggest me to download KINGSOFT on Samsung Apps...

Kind of disappointed... my previous S3 can get that...

Any Suggestion on Document Editor From LYN user?

how? install .apk from s3 into s4?

I Already ask Polaris Office (FB) since the S4 launching, & yes they Said Polaris Office Support Document Editor out of box...
For me Polaris Office is the best Doc Editor...
Used Doc 2 go since I get my S4... (some features missing...Uninstalled)
Today, start using Kingsoft... (So far so good..)

any1 had a list of save app (bloatware) to disable?
I remember there were a member on XDA done this for S3..

Finally Polaris Office 5 available on Samsung Apps.. download, Install & Tested just now... 100% working as Document Editor.

New Interface.
New Setting. (a bit confuse at 1st time open - view mode & edit mode).

This is one of the factor why i buy S4 (instead of One @ Z)...

Can also download via samsung kies on computer...
But it's not autoinstall.. just download .apk file to /storage/emulated/0/SamsungAppsKies

If you update Samsung Kies on computer... it will ask your android version when click on Samssung Apps/store tab.

Hehe.. I know... I don't have this samsung kies on my daily use computer also...
Have 1 backup laptop just for this purpose..

I did my battery test on standby mode : (Original firmware - no root)

1. all data/connection & sensors turn off.
2. brightness 0% (auto set to off).
3. 3-5 minutes call & 5-10 sms perday.
4. A lot of bloatware apps disable.
5. Only Weather & Calender widget use.
6. No browsing/online, gaming. (totally standby)




Is this can consider normal? or something can done to squeeze more...

P/s : My normal daily use can stand 1h 5h with SOT 5h 56m...

If not there, i believe some user have it & some just not yet. Like happen to S3 early release. .

Facing same problem with galaxy corby user before. this happen with my home modem wifi. As I remember, I did change some setting in the modem under "Channel ID". Default setting was "Channel 11" (as for Malaysian). 1 time I change to "Channel 13" and the problem start as you mention. this problem happen to samsung phone only. So I change back to "Channel 11" and problem solved..

p/s : just looked at my office modem, and it's on "Channel 1" (2.412 GHz)..

Hi all s4 users.. I have a question about taking picture..

A. Volume button on top (Volume button as a camera button) or
B. Power button on top.

Which one is the right way to take picture in landscape mode with S4?
