Hi guys,

I need some help.

These past few days, whenever I want to set an alarm the clock stops responding. "Unfortunately, Clock has stopped."

I have tried rebooting but to no avail. I am still able to set alarm using S Voice.

Please advise.

Hi,

My experience with S4 so far:-

I was amazed with its fluidity in the beginning and the features (should I say gimmicks) were other-worldly.

As I use more I came to realize that the actual performance of the phone fell way below my expectations.

1. If i open the camera app after a few days of non usage, the phone automatically restarts itself.

2. I am not able to set alarm until today, I can only set it using S Voice. Error message: unfortunately, clock has stopped.

3. I feel that the accessibility of the most recent apps are a bit tedious compared to my previous devices.

4. If I have many apps running in the background, the phone visibly lags and I have never faced this while using my Nexus 4 which is as smooth as butter (pun intended smile.gif).

5. The usable memory on the device is shambolic at the very best.\

Even with all these negative remarks, there are some positives too.

1. The picture quality is simply superb and the camera features comes in handy almost all the time.

2. In my opinion, the battery life is pretty good considering the fact that I am a heavy user.

3. The gimmicks doesn't come in very handy but they certainly are a crowd puller.

I'm quite disappointed to see that a flagship model from possibly the No.1 Android device manufacturer to have so many issues and I may not purchase another Samsung device again. I have always favoured HTC and I'm hoping to buy their next flagship model.

P.S A suggestion to the TS: I feel that this S4 topic is not really organized compared to the Nexus 4 topic which is much, much more organized and informational.
