Guys, how about digital mall, will they ask me to get the Set as well or can I just purchase the phone outright? I don't really care about a screen prot and stuff. Planning on getting this phone today.

you got conned Tanker.. honestly people have been complaining about about Samsung doing this.
I got my phone for 2243 from Samsung Digital Mall. 2% tax because i used a credit card and they also said there is no easy payment. Seriously Samsung are taking an advantage of the situation. |

I just want to ask you guys something.. its a bit off topic but just a question about Maxis. Have any of you noticed that your data seems to be getting used up faster these 2 months? I can never ever reach my 1.5gb quota but for the past 2/3 months, i seem to be...my usage has not differed much. Just asking around as well.
I am thinking of getting the papago system as well for my phone. I don't know if i should get it from the store, or get the copy from Papago Malaysia. Which is cheaper? Both are the same right, meaning both can use Malfreemaps? This post has been edited by ashwin988: May 9 2013, 09:04 AM |

Actually , the phone does get hot, but its mostly from games that are running in the background. By running in the background, I mean if just say I am playing a game, and an I need to turn it off quick, so i minimize it, and its in the background tasks, but the phone will still remain hot like its running the current game. I have noticed once i stop that game completely, then only would it revert to normal.
I think Sammy needs to address its software issues because the HTC ONE X was having these type of issues during its initial launch which eventually were rectified with the Jelly Bean update. Also another thing, the camera sometimes makes the phone auto restart.. i have had this problem a few times d.. hope they rectify it soon enough. |

I thought it was fixed until it restarted itself again today.... -.- But the re-installation did reduce the frequency of the random reboot. So probably it is a software related issue? I'm not sure. I feel like we should gather everyone who is facing this issue and march into the service centre together lol.  1)format and install the software over 2)give some stupid lame arse excuse which is dumb 3)slight improvement. Just wait it out and see if there are any updates from Samsung about the matter, because honestly.. its not only one or two people that are having this issue.. its actually alot of folks. |

When i purchased my phone, there was a software update within the first 30 minutes of usage. Basically i have already updated the phone out of the box and I checked and there is no other update that is available right now.
