QUOTE(daryl020189 @ May 5 2013, 08:35 AM) May i know how is the battery life for u guys? Seem like my this S4 battery is not as good as the Nexus 4 as reviewers stated. Even when my phone is not in use the battery is draining like hell. I off all the sensors too. Checked battery usage and saw the exchange service is using alot of the juice. anyway to improve it? Thanks I feel it Is definitely better than nexus 4See my posting details about 2 days back on this showing SOT n battery usage Battery drain with 3g on even overnight 2-3% over 7 hours is common Check your wakelocks using app betterbatterystats |

QUOTE(hewtwok @ May 5 2013, 11:00 AM) quote "...scrolling dark greys on blacks smudge/smear purple. A test for this is in settings, on anything grey if you slowly scroll up and down the grey bits go purple." Firstly those quotes is only by one user and does not represent the majorityquote "..I have this annoying yellow tint on my S4's screen, but disappears when the phone is tilted over 45 degrees. Is this faulty ?" just some of the post i read. Go and assess yourself - plenty of demo sets around I don't have such issues at all on my set |

This is nothing new. Seasoned galaxy users would already know this trick to improve any lag if it bothers you
The author over exaggerated it saying it improve lag 10 times |

S4 is basically is over bloated with stuffs. I have pointed out some of the gimmicky stuffs n some not even working properly. This review sums it up well. But it will still sell by millions greater than HTC One. Simply the masses doesn't care unlike some of us who are more inclined to some technical stuffs

QUOTE(Sam9 @ May 9 2013, 02:16 AM) Ok so I went to sleep yesterday with 51% battery but woke up to 41%. I'm sure this is not normal so any reason why? My wifi was on, it was on power saving mode and that's about it. Next time use betterbatterystats app to check wakelocks. Google for these if you don't understand. You should target for say 2-3% drop over 7-9 hours idle. Mine is consistently this range with 3g on but wifi off |

QUOTE(gmhafiz @ May 9 2013, 07:22 AM) I had the camera reboot issue once yesterday. But today it was fine. No firmware upgrade in between. Or it could be some 3rd party app interference?? If firmware, every user will be facing it n firmware problem will consistently give you such problemsStill sounds like firmware instability to me rather than a hardware issue. |

I never faced any such camera causing reboot issues till today. Maybe it is because I never update to the latest rom as I rooted it and unable to update it OTA. Probably the latest rom update is causing such issues
