You can check any new way of rooting.
Flashing pre-root kernel also can do the same thing.

If you root..you won't get FOTA or updates by Kies.
You can use temporary unroot features to receive FOTA without losing your root. Though this method give quite unpredictable result.

Something wrong with your Play Store setting or data network/WiFi setting. Try check that both setting.

Of course Class 10 is better than Class 4 or 6.
Brand wise...many ppl buy Sandisk. Personally I prefer Kingston.

If your Class 4 Samsung Sdcard are problem free..I believe its Class 10 also the same. Only it write faster while on Class 10.

Am never use Extreme before. Only Ultra sdxc Class 10.
Try Google it to know the different biggrin.gif

Btw..you'll be using micro sdcard..not sdhc
