Concept of naval warfare is ..... firstly you don't go out alone....you have a battle group....if you have a carrier better stilll.....than you have a Carrier battle group.....second concept is.....battlezone....a zone around which you are confident of detecting, tracking, engaging and destroying threats..... before they pose a danger..... As in all forms of warfare...... the objective is to detect the enemy while avoiding detection......so could be hundreds of km around you

yep. During LIMA, i saw a bunch of airliner pilots trying their hand on F/A-18E simulator. I guess they are not used to highly responsive aircraft because they crash it everytime.

I believe that SEA nations have both defensive and offensive battle plans drawn up against one another. the good thing is that SEA nations knew that the consequences of waging war against another doesnt not bode weel to anyone..
