i m eyeing to get a portable gaming machine...
and the Y410p and Y500 got my attention...
i am wondering...
which would be a better choice?
Haswell + 750m + lower res or 3630QM + 750m + 1080p....

QUOTE(weilikler @ Jun 13 2013, 07:54 PM) how do you define "better"? Thats quite an eye opener!example: 1. college student: bring laptop around (school / friends place)regularly, go home weekly / once every 2 weeks, never used a desktop for gaming, dont like laptop to be too heavy etc... 14" better for him 2. employed / anybody else: space limitations -> seldom bring laptop around, coming from desktop environment / love movies, dont mind 3-4kg laptop... then 15.6" might be suitable. 1 thing to note is, if you play games at 1080 resolution, frames would be lower. so.. which do you prefer? or what are your likes / hates? matte / glossy screen? a lot for you to think about Thanks man! |
