QUOTE(wavezard @ May 12 2013, 08:32 PM) In order to utilize the features of OneKey Recovery, your hard disk already includes a hidden partition that stores a system mirror image file and the OneKey Recovery program files. This default partition is hidden for security reasons and is the reason your computer's available hard disk space is less than it claims. The exact amount of available hard drive space depends on the file size of the mirror image file (based on the size of the operating system and the pre-installed software.) You can use the Restore from Initial Backup feature to restore the system partition (C drive) back to the initial state. However, once you restore to this status, you are not able to restore the system to another previously backed up state. Therefore, make sure you back up your critical data on the system partition (C drive) to other media, such as another disk partition or removable storage devices. what should i do Edit : Manage to get back Windows8 Single License from empty partition by creating recovery drive from my desktop that use Windows 8 Pro. (I try to clean install Win8 Pro from ISO to Lenovo laptop it won't allow, I think the license is locked to bios and license/version does not match) and after recover with Recovery drive I go to my laptop then go to PC setting, reset PC and it ask me to insert recovery disc, so I insert my recovery disc and manage to get back Win8SL. ![]() ----- Now same issue with you.. Not sure we can use the option from "control panel -> recovery -> recover drive" and create a an image with hidden partition for OKR for the harddisk then restore back to laptop or not. So now the missing stuff is OKR.. If anyone willing to meet up let me copy your lenovo y400/y500 OS image? I will pay you. This post has been edited by xDragonZ: May 12 2013, 09:07 PM |

QUOTE(wavezard @ May 12 2013, 09:36 PM) thats quite big actually..unless Yea, it's quite big (min 20-30GB). That's the reason I plan to find someone who can meet up in some places such as McD and I pay you and I create system image and transfer to my laptop then I do PC reset, then all docs/installed programs will be removed.1-they make their copy 2-make torrent 3-pay for 1gbps upload seedbox 4-make sure the trrent has good amount of seed.. u pay for the seedbox For anyone want to try you can use "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows 7 File Recovery" then create a system image. |

Guys, good news for who want to get back OKR 8.0 on their partition. I found OKR (Without OS) and With Lenovo Win8 OS ISO files.
http://kbdl.lenovo.com.cn/qiuml/OKR/WIN8_O..._OS)_130106.iso http://kbdl.lenovo.com.cn/qiuml/OKR/WIN8_O...STD)_130109.iso But the above link only can use Thunder Downloader to download. If you don't want use TD try google the ISO and use others link to download. If anyone want to ISO I will try upload to site such as box or mediafire once I finish download. Edit : WIN8_OKR8.0(Without_OS) (814.8 MB) - Not tested I have uploaded to : http://turbobit.net/htvj43y6lm75.html https://mega.co.nz/#!2cEFDYCR!XcFfy...qobqJgb-VdG0MTw http://uploading.com/fd2ce4e8/WIN8_OKR8-0-...6_evozi-com-iso Here's the guide http://plus.evozi.com/143/lenovo-one-key-r...nd-setup-guide/ This post has been edited by xDragonZ: May 15 2013, 02:56 AM |

QUOTE(slimfox @ May 21 2013, 03:18 PM) Your new computer comes with a protective plastic layer between the keys. You could remove that plastic to get rid of the bubbles. I remove mine the moment I got the computer. Oh, is not the protective plastic layer, check this » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
