does nvidia SLI really work? if the GT750m SLI can match the performance of the gtx 675MX with half the price. WHy all the other gaming laptop companies don wanna do the same?

bought a y500 single nvidia 750m as well. rm 2899. have tested several games like xcom enemy unknown, nfs mw, alan wake. all running at ultra smoothly with no lags.

i have yet to believe the power of dual graphics (SLI) of 750M which is said to have the performance of a single 675MX. will wait for more reviews and stable drivers.

is it worth to go from gt750m to gt750m SLI?
coz game benchmark
show that it still cannot play fluently some games on ultra.

How do you know? notebookcheck doesn't have any game benchmarks for 750m SLI nor the single 750m..

like you, I'm still waiting how 750m SLI would fare before buying another ultrabay

Guys, just ignore the benchmark on that page, its using a weaker DDR3 750m. not DDR5 on the lenovo Y

ain't a pro but my advice is go for y500/510p with SLI drool.gif .
both got Full High Definition screens drool.gif .
me, stuck with y400 due to budget constrain cry.gif but planing to upgrade to SLI if single gt750m couldn't handle the new COD: Ghost(coming out in NOV) @ satisfactory setting.

Dude when you decide to buy the SLI, can you pm me or let me know as well?

Tomb raider is playable full hd with tresfx off and anti aliasing off. Other settings max.

Nfs most wanted playable with full settings

Assassin creed brotherhood full settings

Dota 2 full settings.

just tried crysis 3 on single 750m. at FHD it is unplayable. 10-20 fps. only get decent framerates of 30 fps if i changed resolution t 1366x 768 which makes the picture really bad.

anyone tried crysis 3 on SLI?
