Hi everyone I am using Y410p laptop. Its been nearly 2 months now and now problem arises.
There is white flickering problem:

It happens
1. During Boot up
2. During shut down
3. Playing games
4. Normal browsing

But it only happens occasionally. It is not stuck there, it will gone by itself in a few seconds, or when i move the screen forward a little, it will disappear and click alt-tab.
Does anyone has any clue to what happened to my laptop?

This image is when there is no white flickering.

could it be the graphic card? Have you try update to the latest firmware?

yeah it auto update 2 days ago. Could it be the display cable between the screen and the chip sets?

Thanks for yoour advices. Uninstalled McAfee and got BitDefender! Btw what's the temperature of your laptops? Mine clocked in around 84 max for the GPU after 1 hour COD ghost (max settings), processors was about 70-90. Is this okay?
