Hi, my y400 got a problem here.

The keyboard, when i press shift with 2, the symbol should out (@)
, but it out (") and the number 3 also same problem. How can I change keyboard output ??

Can anyone help ?

Hi, anyone know what happen to my Y400?

I just bought less than a month but already see this BSOD 2 times.

I added a stick of 8GB RAM inside at day one.

The first BSOD time is day one I using this laptop, then second time is
today.

I didn't do any BIOS change or something else, just normal use.

Anyone know why this BSOD always happen

Mine y400 gt750m play bf4 with gforce optimized setting can reach 100'c.

I'm also using a 3 fans U2 cooling pad.

Is it abnormal ?

did u update the latest nvidia driver and switch to gtx660m when u gaming ?

ur gtx660m should be no problem max on dota 2 graphic with higher fps.

last week was sent my Y400 to plaza berjaya SC due to unable to power on laptop

then 1 week later they sms me able to collect and they replaced my mobo.
so i go collect my laptop yesterday.

today my laptop keep shutdown in unexpected way(without BSOD or any message) 13 times already(still counting if i continue turn on my laptop).

really fed up with lenovo already

btw my y400 cpu idle temp is same as your cpu max temp

just cleaned and reapplied thermal paste last week..

play GTA V around 2 hours

sometimes the fps will throttled but after awhile the game will running smooth.

so overall not an issue for me

Last time my battery light also showing red then I take back to Lenovo SC they changed the motherboard for me.

Make sure whether is adapter fault or motherboard fault.

Mine is y400 and not hit by thunder but i think is some kind of electricity surge make the motherboard fried.

I extended to 3 years warranty so just bring it to SC let them fix for me.

No need any experience to warranty your machine, just go there and they them your problem.

I also been thinking want to replace my Y400 network card but Lenovo has a white-list for the BIOS. If want change the network card must follow the part model from the white-list.
