Absolutely, the build of y400 could really be better. The hinge especially, although it's tight, but it can be better. My old Asus was doing a great job. But, it's good enough. i updated the driver and previously, i have no problems with VGA to my bigger LCD. but now, seems like it keeps glitching and flashing.
Not sure whether it's the driver's problem or what. restarting and fiddling with setting didn't help.
my gal's z400 has no problem though.
Geez!

Guys, read that y400 had locked itself with the product key of Windows 8 into bios or something like that. Is it?
I intend to format it into my own windows 8 pro. What should I do and I couldn't really find any tutorial on the internet. Wrong searching?
Btw, is it worth to invest in GN35 aka Ultrabay SLI for y400? The performance will be better? Let say, for Crysis.

Sad to listen to yours.  |
