Almost 4 months since I sent my Y500 to SC...really fed up with all of this...why can't they just give me a new unit instead...work done so far by them...changed processor, hdd, motherboard, battery, psu.....now cannot install window....product key not matching...
When I asked Lenovo, they said the case is close after replacing the affected components.
how can they closed the case when i still haven't received my laptop.
Guys, any idea how to get my money back?
bought this unit from devour.
P.s Mr devour...its been 6 months now and I'm still waiting for my 170w PSU

Initially having this battery and PSU problems which escalated to corrupt window...don't ask me how...sent to SC for repair in Sandakan,Sabah.
Didn't check on the progress because I was busy with my work...
After two months went to the SC to check on the proress...I was so shocked when I was told that they changed the motherboard twice, change the hard disk, graphic card, processor....almost everything except for the monitor and keyboard. After all that, there is still problem with it. According to the SC, my case is known to the whole country and the support guys at Lenovo tried to create this problem and find a solution for it...Don't know if they were telling the truth. But I did see around 10 small boxes around my laptop. When I asked the SC guys they told me all of that was just for my laptop...I did ask him why can't they just give me a new unit instead of replacing almost everything.
Write a complaint to Lenovo and can you guys believe it, they only call me after three weeks. Until today there is still no news from them except telling me that the case was closed. So pissed of by them and demanded they refund me.
Thinking of going to Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia.
