QUOTE(slimfox @ May 26 2013, 04:56 PM) Expresscache will only use maximum 32bg for mSata config. I have a 60bg mSata SSD but still only use 32gb (no way to set it to use max capacity unfortunately. I am using Intel 525 series 60gb. You maybe right but I trust major brands/manufacturers will make sure their products run as per specification. I cannot comment about less know/well establish brands/manufacturers. Till today my mSata has been fantastic with super fast boot times. Note: for those who are using Lenovo's Espresscache remember to run the command "eccmd -preload c:\windows". This will preload the entire c:\windows folder into the mSata SSD thus making your boot times faster. The process of preloading takes time, I just run the command then went to sleep after waiting for 1hr+. You're in luck because for the 525, that is the minimum capacity with full 8x1 interleave. In part, that is why I went with Crucial because of the same capacity and about the same average speed.

I would think that overclocking a laptop graphic card is a bad idea at first, but it seems that my temperature reading is holding steady at between 60-70 celcius during load.
Anyone here knew the max temp for the 750M?

Anybody actually know where they sell original Lenovo Ultrabay components in Malaysia? Or where can you actually order one.

Yes, but the CPU all hitting 70-80 degrees, don't think that's a problem, which is I asked what is the max temperature the 750M can handle before it starts to blow.

Max temperature for Kepler GPU is 90 Celsius. Max temperature for Ivy Bridge CPU is 105 Celsius. Overclock isn't bad idea after all, my overclocked Y500 rarely reach more than 85 Celsius~ Besides get performance boost. :3 This post has been edited by AiSheep: May 27 2013, 02:11 PM

OK! I have something to share for those who hates glossy panel on this! It seems this laptop have interchangeable panels from Gloss, Matte and 95% gamut for matte and gloss! Panels can bought from this website~ Panels for Y500I gonna save $$ to get rid of this stupid gloss panel that make my eyes strain, anti glare film isn't my favorite thing! And someone just post tutorial video of replacing panels, he is replacing matte screen~ » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Looks like Y500 panel is able to customize :3....
