Anyone having y400/y500 wireless issue?
Sick of this dropping randomly, my y400 with atheros wireless adapter!

Anyone have a fix for this?

of course GT650M dual mode u cannot compare to a single GT750M, and also the GT750M is just an overclocked Kepler GK107 same same with the GT650M, ie. 967 MHz (GT750M) vs 900 MHz (GT650M)

The 650M and 750M are in the same level just different generations so the 750M will just be slightly better and more power efficient however neither of them will do amazing for gaming but they should work just fine.. I'd say GT650M SLi if u can just go for it.

Can anyone recommend me any physical shop in Klang Valley to buy the Y500, and if anyone can roughly tell me the price for GT650m SLI, 750m and 750m sli would be good.

When I use my Y580 in US before, it never gives me any connection issue... probably because the router is right beside me that time... but now I'm back in Malaysia, the wireless does drop quite often with Win8... never encounter such thing in Win7...

And it also happened with my desktop wifi as well. I never check into the details but I'm guessing my laptop and desktop's wifi is using the same chip thus the same problem, even ping to router gets dropped... Right now I'm using cable on my desktop... so, either the router doesn't work well with Win8 networking or the drivers really are sucks...

as for touchpad, my only gripe with it is the real navigation area is so small that it always mistake my intention as gesture instead of moving pointer
