QUOTE(MystiqueLife @ Jun 15 2013, 12:10 PM) Dear forumers, gosh.... time to make y410p user list I have tried replacing my factory drive with a Vertex 2 SSD but it seems that I needed to boot the notebook thrice before it gets detected to boot into Windows; no idea why. Since that didn't worked well, I changed into a WD Black with Windows 7 and sometimes my WiFi couldn't detect any networks; forcing me to reboot the notebook multiple times. Updated latest drivers didn't help either. Anyway, Y410p user joining the club. Hehehe. QUOTE(saster_182 @ Jun 15 2013, 06:13 PM) Hi all, i think i overreacted & overcautioned as someone posted links a few pages back saying that a few ppl over the world reporting that the driver ruined their card i just bought y500 with pre-installed windows 8. i downgrade to windows 7, installed into miniSSD, since i dont like the windows 8 interface. the problem i get is about the touchpad, that seems like not very sensitive. anyone got this problem or is there any links or tips to counter this problems?. and one more things, why can't use nvidia driver 320.18?.. btw, Y500 user reporting.. QUOTE(MystiqueLife @ Jun 17 2013, 11:44 PM) I am wondering whether my Y410p uses mSATA or m.2..... don't tell me y410 still using the lousy wifi card And I hate the annoying wireless issue where I have to reboot twice for it to be able to detect wireless networks, not sure what's wrong. Using windows 7 with the pre-shipped drivers though. |

Uhh... I just remembered I'm the TS for this thread and this thread is overdue for new version. Sorry but can someone take over from me & make a new thread? Although I'm still using my Lenovo Y series laptop, it currently ends up as test machine and rarely been used lately.
New TS can pm me when the new thread is up and I'll lock & redirect it to the new thread. Sorry again for MIA from this thread for 1 year+ This post has been edited by kuroneko0509: Oct 3 2014, 03:39 AM |
