My Lenovo Y500 is less than 6 months old and now facing charging issues. It does not charge and stays with 7% battery...

Is warranty for battery still on(I mean does is it valid in warranty period? coz I heard warranty for battery is diff from the laptop itself)? And how much do I need to pay for the battery if warranty is finish?

Hello all.. i'm going to send my laptop in for warranty claim (screen goes blank after some time.. no backlight). Based on experience, how long will it take for me to get my notebook back? Any bad experiences with Lenovo service centers?

That is because Windows/nvidia settings detect that you are on battery, hence it switch to Intel HD graphics, not nvdia GPU. It is always practical to connect the power adapter if you decided to game on the laptop smile.gif

Try to make a clean installation of your nvdia driver, updated to the latest (non-beta version)

what is the compatible SSD for y510p newest model?

If i want to upgrade ram and SSD by myself, will it void the warranty?

i don't think it will void the warranty for just upgrading the ram and ssd/hdd because after you open the back cover, you can only access the hdd, ram, wifi card and the ngff slot for y410p,warranty will void if you remove the cover for the cpu/gpu and also messing with the heatsink/heatpipe.i already opened my y410p back cover.
