Guys, i think my laptop power cord die already today. Machine still undur warrantty until 2015. So my question is basically does power cord wrty as per laptop wrty or is it just for certain fixed period only like 3,6 or 12 mths only. If power cord not cover, then no choice got to buy replacement la.. If u got any idea please advice.. Thx

have you uninstall the preinstalled mcafee antivirus? It's the culprit that been hogging most of the resources. Once you remove it, everything will be fast like supercar!

the accessories bundled come with one year warranty although ur laptop is 2 / 3 years warranty. get the invoice together with you and exchange for one if purchase period fall within one year.

Hi all, my Y580's screen is acting up (pixelating screen)... have to send to Lenovo for servicing. Do i need to provide any document (receipt/warranty card) to them or is the serial number sufficient? Asking bcoz i can't find my receipt!

if it's malaysian unit, serial number should be enough as warranty are registered online.

Hi, u all know any outlets that sell lenovo y410p? I want to avoid refurbished laptops if possible. Preferably Kota Damansara area. Midvalley also can.

My Lenovo Y500 is less than 6 months old and now facing charging issues. It does not charge and stays with 7% battery...

Is warranty for battery still on(I mean does is it valid in warranty period? coz I heard warranty for battery is diff from the laptop itself)? And how much do I need to pay for the battery if warranty is finish?

afaik, battery warranty is one year from purchase date. bring your purchase invoice, otherwise the warranty will follow the lenovo system (date usually start from it arrive in msia/shipping to lenovo msia). it doesnt follow laptop warranty which is 2years iws or upgraded 3y iws/onsite warranty.

Y510P single GPU set.
Already got it today.....so far so good...

P.s: i got an issue with the dicota backpack provided by lenovo. I cant fit the laptop into the bag really. Did they give the wrong bag that should be for y410p?
