Call to management office to complain about a small house defect on Saturday and hope they send someone to check on it but was told to send an email to lodge the report. So I did it immediately and until today there is no reply from the management office. On the other hand, they are free to send reminder email about the maintenance fees statement asking for payment.

From what I experienced after staying there for one month, I am truly disappointed with the management. Perhaps they are following SOP but this is really not the way of doing it.

Feel so sad as this is really a beautiful residential area. Why we have to endure all the ridiculous rules with the money we paid for the house? Even have to shut all the doors and windows tight because of the failure in their design?

And now I even have to bear the risk of not getting my renovation deposit back simply because my air cond compressor is too big and couldn't fit into the designated area. I really couldn't understand their "rules and regulations" and is it really legal to hold our money like that since MBSA already approve the renovation?

Agree with u. Something is seriously wrong with how they are checking their emails. I paid the fees on time and yet they send me reminder to pay up. Then I replied and told them I've already paid. Seems like they didn't receive that email either and proceeded to deactivate my access card!

Had to call them to clear this up. And then in the new statement received recently, it's still reflected as overdue. I am speechless....

Thanks Wong for your pro-activeness!
I've already clarified this with management and all have been resolved now. I'm just hoping that they won't miss looking at my emails in the future and this will not re-occur.

Hi Guys,

Wanna ask how long does it take to finished the defect work usually?
I have submited my defect check list to Genesis in Jun and resubmit again in July since they haven't start any work yet. Last week call Genesis and they said im at 17th of the list but today became 21st. They claim that pending work because of hari raya but then hari raya just the 2 days off. Looks like someone is jumping q? Had waiting for 2 months and still waiting. Renovation work is pending now. Got house but can stay. Disappointed

I recently visited a friend in Legian and interested in buying a place there. But the thing that turn me off is the surrounding and security such as not well kept garden(looks more like tepi jalan view) and worn off playground, rubbish scattered everywhere.

Why is Ken Rimba management taking ages to deal with these problems ?

Very good morning Mr Wong, replace the equipment just temporary solve the issue. But as long as this playground is open for public, this issue definitely will be happened again and again. Which party should bear the cost of replace the faulty equipment? MBSA? KEN? GENESIS or ken rimba residences maintenance fee? Thus, we do hope KEN and GENESIS can come out "something" which can benefit Legian, Jimbaran and other ken rimba residences. Look at the big picture, If KEN can provide very good after sales service instead of finger point to other party, i do believe you wont see any bad comment in future.

Thanks.

Regads,
Felix Chai
Legian resident.

Dear Felix,
this playground is a public playground as is required by MBSA and the roads serving the external areas are also public roads. This is the same for any housing area. We also hope that our residents will be able to give constructive comments to improve the place for everyone and work together with our management team. We are trying our best with the limited budget and resources that we have and we hope we can have constructive feedback and suggestions from the owners too. Our management team will then endeavour our best to liase with the relevant authorities to see how to resolve issues for the good of everyone. The gated and guarded area is only within the legian residences compound where the guardhouse starts and as such we cannot restrict anyone from coming into the playground. We will also like to suggest having a community patrol with the involvement of the residents and perhaps you will be the first to volunteer and take the lead in this? We will support you in every way we can. We believe that the success of the community will only be achieved by having hands on involvement of the residents. We look forward to your agreement to lead this initiative.

Thanks,
cswong
