Hi There I need help to choose a cheap but good sound system for my first car. It's an old Saga but whatever. At least its a car. I just want to do up the sound system for less than 300 just speakers alone! I already have an amplifier. Will upload a picture of it once I collect it. I'm hoping to keep my current blaupunkt radio head for two reasons. I works well and if theis decide to break in they will see an old radio and and not give two shits about it.

Quality coaxial speakers are within your range at about 300+ I should say & they sound pretty good too when driven by amp!

yes, coaxial (4x9) speaker with big magnet! good coaxial will give u sound like using bass box!

bro at yr budget mentioned, brand isn't the priority (although both coaxial does have brands, in fact decent brands they're & has proven in a compact hatchback rides) but good decent sound can be fairly acceptable

buy "kedai potong" speaker.much better with 300 budget.good sound compare to acc shop.can get carroz,alpine&kenwood.

for the same price, u can actually get a better speaker that sound better than those half cut 1. i never had a good sound from them no matter how much they bought. of course it's compare to the aftermarket speaker at same price range. some customer bring some alpine so called "highend" model and end up changing to some unbranded tweeter after they tested the sound. but of course, you can choose it if u think it's more comfortable with them. ")
