Hi,

Nice info for the powerbank..

Recently I bought Pineng PN-903, I'm using the 2.1A output port to change my Galaxy S4 and Note 2..however, the output is not up to expectation..just wondering is that normal?

Pls take a look at the photo..

Attached Image

It's only 1200mA using the 2.1A port.. rclxub.gif

The S4 and Note 3 will only show 1200 if it is left on for more than 3 seconds after screen on. Within approx 3 seconds of screen on it will show 1800.

Note 2 should show 1800 if the port outputs 2.1A.

But I keep refresh it in Galaxy Charging Current app..still show at 1200mA.. rclxub.gif

Of course, because your screen is already on for more than 3 seconds.

I suggest you let the screen blank out, wait about 5 seconds, then turn on the screen and immediately run GCC. It should show you 1800 for a few seconds, then drop to 1200. This is how S4 and Note 3 behave.

Note 2 should consistently show 1800.

Again, if the pb output doesn't provide 2.1A, then that's a different story. Try various cables and see if the readout differs.

Ok..I get what u mean..

Today I tested with my LG G Pro 2..even i off screen and turn on..its not up to 1400mA and its only 1000mA..while if I use LG original charger, I can get 1400-1500mA and charger rated 1.8A output..

Let's dont check it using app, with LG charger, I see 1 hour I can charge 50-60% of battery, but using this Pineng Powerbank I only can charge 36% for 1 hour.. laugh.gif

I tried using XiaoMi Powerbank, it did well with my phone and output same with my original LG charger..guess this Pineng powerbank is not so efficient.. doh.gif

Slow charging ?
Do you mean the time required to charge the powerbank ? 11200mAh is really big capacity. 1A charger required more than 12 hours while 2A charger required more than 6 hours charging time.

Do you mean the time required to charge the phone? Because if you are using data cable, the charging rate will be slower. That is USB charging. If you are using charging cable to charge the phone (data pin shorted), it will provide AC charging, which is fast.

For Pineng Powerbank, the input only 1A max..so even use 2A charger, still need over 12 hours to charge full from flat.. shakehead.gif

Hi all I want to share my teardown / disassembly of the Mi 10400mah Powerbank.

1. Slowly prise off the white plastic fascia on both ends. A small, sharp knife will do best with the least amount of chipping to the aluminium and plastic itself. Just be careful of the retention clips, but they are not clipped. Some small force will release them.

After the fascia is removed, unscrew 4 screws on each end.

Rear fascia removed

2. After the screws are removed, use something to prise out the rear stopper or plug. You may use the stickiness of the double-sided tape that remains on the plug to help in lifting it up using your fingers as a surface.

3. After the rear stopper is removed, you may gently push the entire assembly from the rear towards the front.

Very nice board, and even has a thermocouple for heat control. VERY NICE touch.

To re-assemble, reverse the steps.

Hope this helps TS for investigation.
