x-treme, when u opened ur PN-910, u figured out that the 18650 battery is 2800mah based on calculation, did u visually confirm that its written 2800mah?
*
yes very confirm. it is the same type as shown in above picture from joytest.
but it written 2800mAh for each cell.

it is impossible to label lower capacity because it can't produce the higher output as measured.

it is not possible to label the larger capacity because it is not look those over rated 30000mAh, where actual capacity is far less than half of it.

calculation can't indicate the actual capacity.
(3.7/5) x (13000) x (75%) = 7215mAh

7215mAh/ 3100 = 2.3 times

75% efficiency i think is because of large current drawn which reduce the efficiency.

RMB280 is quite expensive compared to Pineng.
*
yes agree that YB is expensive.
Eg the latest YB model 'thunderbolt' 15600mah is around 250-270.
while Pineng PN-912 16800mah is around 190-220.

should be no problem for that. i had bought sanyo 2800mAh cell and plan to replace the notebook cells.
but the measured result shows the capacity is much lower than expected. may be just like the seller says that it needs 4.35V charger to fully charge it. Now plan to buy the cell with 2600mAh with required 4.2V to fully charge it. nod.gif

Where or how are you getting the 4.2V charger? Do you mean you will separately charge the 2600/2800 cells with the 4.2V charger before swapping out the notebook cells?

i bought from the same seller. 1 type is powerbank with changeable 18650 cells and another one is universal charger for Li-ion and NiMH battery, when it fully charged it shows the time required and capacity of the cell.

No need separately charge. The housing of the notebook cells containing the charging circuit, just plug into notebook to charge it. I don't know whether it is necessary to erase the data in the EEPROM or not, it stores the information of the battery.

i don't have note 2 to test so i just can give you the estimation of the number of charging with efficiency of 85%.

Note 2 capacity is 3100mAh so it is about 2.3 times.
