wait for S4 with official vanilla android from google

I had the dilemma of choosing s4 and HTC one. I was a previous Samsung galaxy 2, note and nexus 4 user. End up choosing HTC one mainly because :-

1) unibody aluminium body compared to cheap plastic. Next to S4 the HTC look like a million dollars while the s4 looks like a bargain basement phone. I can say it has a better built compared to even the iPhone 5. This is how a proper iPhone should look like if it had a bigger screen. Actually I even prefer the Nexus 4 looks compared to S4. If only it had a higher resolution screen it could even whoop the s4.

2) good camera for all situations with image stabilizer, especially low light.

3) superior stereo speakers which correctly faces
front. We are now in 2013 so I can't imagine why phone still uses mono speakers.

4) although on paper s4 is faster, in reality HTC one is smoother. S4 is quite jerky when scrolling between screens while testing it at the digi store.

Amen to that. Using Samsung now, but it's refreshing to be able to change the look and feel of the OS. With S3, I can switch among TouchWiz, AOSP and MIUI (excellent theming). If I use HTC, I can switch among Sense, AOSP and MIUI. There's no point in sticking to one look-and-feel, like iOS. So boring.

I love HTC phones except for one thing: you can only unlock the bootloader through their website, and then it's bye-bye to your warranty (most of the time). With Samsung, it's no holds barred and you can return the phone to its stock condition anytime.

Had the Butterfly for a while, and seriously thinks it's the most beautiful phone available (although the back is prone to scratches). Waiting to touch the One in real life.

So end up just get my made in taiwan htc one black today .
