Greetings to all sifus here, I would like to seek advice from the sifus here.

I feel like changing my car tires and wanna seek advice and opinions.

My current tire setup is 185/60R14. The front donuts are GoodYear Duraplus and the rear donuts are stock SilverStone M3.

Now the rear donuts treads are wearing out soon. Reaching the TWI soon and I can start to feel it doesn't grip very well lately.

So the question is:
1. Should I replace the rear donuts with GoodYear Duraplus as well or should I try another brand? (e.g., Bridgestone Turanza AR10 / Yokohama C.Drive2)
Note: budget within MYR 200/donut and my priority is on performance over comfort, especially on wet conditions.
2. Should I put the new pair of donuts at the front or at the back?

For the first time I heard people seeking performance over comfort, yet had a pair of duraplus infront, M3 at the back doh.gif

Seriously dude, u need to get rid of the M3 as soon as possible. Gaga has a floatty arse, putting new tyre at the back would be a good choice. Howebedapak, convention thinking of save new tyre for manuverability, putting the new tyres upfront, save the duraplus at the back is not a bad choice. So, regardless how u put it, as long as no M3 u r safe.

Within 200 can have many choices, depends on your preference. Yoko C Drib is famous and many of us using it. If want cheapskate, can opt for Indo tayar Archilles, good performance but slightly noisy. My choice of tayar, as long NOT silberstone M3/M5, most tayar perform well.

Hope this help

Thanks for the inputs. I am really clueless at this. I replaced my front cause, the car skidded (understeered) and hit the curb on the front wheel. It was damaged but I didn't want to risk it exploding, so I replaced both the front wheels the next morning. And that is how I end up with better tires at the front (and that is also the reason why I would choose performance over comfort because I've skidded a lot with 4 M3 donuts on my ride.) After I changed the front to duraplus, I feel the car really nicer (and safer) to drive a lot.

Then lately, I start experiencing oversteer and my corners are rather unstable. Then, I went to take a look at my rear donuts and it seems it's time I get rid of them for good! hahaha.

Thanks for the input. smile.gif will schedule to change my donuts soon. Hopefully I'm still alive by then. (jz jk.. hehehe) Will most likely get the Yoko C Drive. smile.gif
