QUOTE(dares @ Apr 30 2013, 05:22 PM) Can't be sure, but I know it's not the fuel tank or fuel pump, the most expensive possibility is RM146 (item 369), so I suppose you need to prepare RM200 or so to include labour cost? If the pipe is at the same side as the tank mouth, then it should be fuel breather pipe/tube.Check at Proton SC to be sure. |

QUOTE(lhwj @ Apr 30 2013, 08:57 PM) I guess so. But IMHO, don't really see much reason to flush unless recommended by his magician. Unlike an engine, there isn't anything entering or exiting a gearbox other than torque. Not just about what's entering/exiting it, it's about all the metallic particles that may chip off from repeated grinding/engaging/disengaging of the gear. Same goes with your engine. Service on the first 1000KMs is to flush out all these particles to prevent them from damaging more delicate parts like the pistons and seal rings. |

QUOTE(dares @ May 1 2013, 12:36 AM) Just now took my dad's 1.5 GLi manual Wira for a midnite run to my favourite urban road near Nirvana Sungai Besi. Don't forget the torsion beam in saga vs multilink in wira. Ex wira driver too That car is built surprisingly solid, 12 year old but the dashboard does not rattle at all. What's more surprising is, even with those 13" rims, the car performs quite impressively on the curvy road, it is stable around corners and at high speeds. Steering response is not as good as the FLX SE, but around the corners it is more composed than the Saga and less dramatic, probably due to the very low ride height. Or perhaps, Mitsu R&H > Lotus R&H? The engine leaves a lot to be desired. The 4G15 is SOHC, that means there really is no point dragging the gear to 4k RPM because the max torque has already been dispensed at 3k RPM and drops pretty sharply after that. I manage to push until 120km/h @ around 4k RPM before the engine ran out of breath. It is a old engine, after all. And only god knows why the clutch bite point is so damn high. It does have a lot of modding potential, though. |

QUOTE(dares @ May 1 2013, 02:13 AM) True also. So stock to stock, which do you find is better? Persona or Wira? I find the Waja stock handling to be sub par. If the Wira is given the same wheel sizes, I think it can outperform the Waja. But my Waja days are kinda vague to me now....I only remember how surprised I was to find that my Saga has less bodyroll than Waja |

QUOTE(diaBoliQu3 @ May 10 2013, 11:50 PM) Ya, thanks.. But I just want to double check. Persona owner might have different op and Saga owner have different op. But driving, I think Persona like less power. Maybe due to the weight difference. But Saga 1.3 CVT are really smooth. Haven't have the chance to test 1.6 SE yet. Lol. Less power? Same engine la macha. Differences are in IAFM/IAFM+ and transmission as well as the weight. Saya punya opinion paling unbiased punya in Persona thread |

QUOTE(diaBoliQu3 @ May 11 2013, 12:04 AM) One fine day... Hehe... City drive ka? then I suggest you get Saga instead la. PE is well known for its farked up city FC.To answer your question, I never tried manual. Looking for auto car. Somehow I feel less power. Or is it me are psychological influenced by the car size. Any direct comparison for fuel? What do you mean less tiring? Mostly city drive in Kuching. Cars in Kuching are getting more day to day. This post has been edited by xandras: May 11 2013, 12:07 AM |
