hi all...after i found the company details on net or newspaper, especially their tel.no, if i want to know more about their company, can i just call them for asking some questions, or i need to send email to them first with my resume and cover letter? which 1 is better?

you may call but if you say that you are interested in their job they will most likely be asking you to go to their company for interview or send in your resume but there is no harm in trying to ask but be warned, most secretaries can't reveal much

Why not? It's a good way to know if it's a good company to work with or not. Does the person on the other side of the line sound stressed? Angry? Abusive? Idiotic? Incomprehensible? Too revealing about the company they work with (esp. with respect to the bad stuff)?
