if u got lubang, even 3rd class can enter provided you are good and offcourse the test is more harder.

anyway, i think malaysia only got this tax i guess.
im thinking of going some where and get a PR status. i hate to come back to this shite hole

Aye! Aye! i hear ya...that's why i'm so glad to leave here next month. Might be difficult at first to leave family, gf and frens behind. Even my current company CEO told me not to come back here. he's from canada.

From my recent experience...they called me asking me some general questions about whether i know what the job entails, how much my current salary, what job i'm doing etc.

He sent someone here to interview me in person and brought along all the necessary documents (contract, letter for the embassy etc). If all goes well, sign contract, prepare visa, off i go.

Usually they will initiate all the interviews, they will do it through the phone or if they have a office locally...you might be interviewed by local peeps.

I got mine through online.....sent a letter stating how, why and my initiave to work abroad for the company.

I'm getting an international contract....which seeing myself going from country to country to work. I have no tax whatsoever.....yet. until they decide to put my arse in a single location permanently.

My brother is working in the UAE and he's not been taxed. Maybe it's an annual thing.
*
No tax? Or you meant your employer will be reimbursing you for the other countries' tax payment?

Most countries have non-tax-resident rates and usually it's higher than tax-resident rates for income tax and you will get taxed as long as you have done something commercial while in their territory. Or do you plan to work in those countries on a tourist visa? wink.gif

Most people give the same bullsh*t response. Teamplayer lar, work hard lar, willing to learn lar, an asset because of traits lar, can make the company move forward lar....bla bla bla.

I really don't know why they even bother with this question anymore. so saturated. it's not like we are applying for a management position.
*
yah those question really suck!! but no idea interview is a formal process . somehow , it have those book provides answers. but I was thinking why they asked me to show them "SPM"!!!

Thanx...not lucky....just blessed! thumbup.gif

@wyyew
yeah....show SPM??
for what? there is a hard-earned first class or 2nd-upper degree if front of them....and they want to see SPM cert??

As i know, they want to see SPM cert is partly because of your consistency to excel and maintain your standard. but still, doesn't a degree trump an SPM cert?

Somehow I felt that fresh grads are like slaves. Or should I say like beggars. Company pay u how much u take, if u don't take.. fine. Go find another company.

At first sure really lose out. Everything also price increased but salary rarely increase. Dog eat dog country.

Its not wrong to think this way... But it is better to think further ahead I guess. If the person is an SPM leaver working as an event coordinator, yes, he/she earns more than a fresh grad. But in terms of career opportunity, a person with an academic qualification can go further in the future and if the person strive for it, he/she can end up in a very senior position where the pay is a high. On the other hand, this person who works as event co., will always be an event co. or in some similar positions in that area. But off coz, it doesnt mean you are wrong. It is so true that nowadays, academic qualification doesnt mean everything. Street smart is the important thing that carries a person into success.

fresh grad or not, i tink salary wise would depend on the company, position tht u applied for. say if u applied for a position that is lowest in the corporate ladder in a big mnc company, pls dont expect them to pay high salary.

Fresh graduates nowadays should be thankful or lucky to get a 4 digit pay as starters. Dont worry about the amount as you are still in probation period. If you can perform well in your job, trust me your pay will be increased after that, maybe double or triple. So, my advice - work hard, prove yourselves and you'll see the results

BTW, for those who think the RM1-2k salary is a bit too low for a fresh graduate, just to inform you all that my first pay was only RM230. It was too low until the HR staff there didnt know whether its necessary to deduct any amount for my EPF or not. I kept my eyes closed and continue on working and until now my salary is roughly 30 times more that I what I got at the first place
