Personally for my other low mileage car, I did use a good FS with 6 months change interval, regardless of it reaching 5K mileage or not. Long term wise, its very good for the engine cleanliness and good performance. For high mileage car, dragging 10K mileage is not my cup of tea but it works for others. I prefer to use semi at 5K changed to ensure cleaner engine than 10K for FS unless you can get a very good quality oil filter to withstand 10K filteration.

huhu just found out my car will stay in SC for another 2 weeks, been there for 2 already =(

all 4 times the car stopped while driving, so dangerous.....engine died off while driving at 100km/h then the other times is the car couldn't start the RPM will be unstable then the engine will die off =(

thanks for the clear explanation, my warranty is just 2 years and expired ady. 2.5 years and mileage is only 16000+km, anyway i still go to Proton SC for service. I think for future i'll just go to service once every half year using semi oil

or is it possible using FS oil and service once a year?

if anything similar happen again, i think can just throw the whole engine block away n plonk in another engine...not camtakpro engine of coz!

Using mineral is indeed much cheaper but if he has been using semi all this while, switching to mineral might make the car underpowered. At least that's what happen to me on iswara and city.

Still in Cose. Called yesterday evening mentioning it might have some wiring issue and have to stay a couple of days there. I guess they're still trying to trace where is the source of problem. Only hope they fixed it once and for all, will worry if fixed the meter issue but suddenly discover the lost pickup still there. No point worrying to much for now, luckily still have Civic to tied me over these period.

On we-care, I have an Irman on my case on regarding the warranty expiry. Guess calling we-care WHEN I have breakdown just to log in my case into we-care system does has its advantage, don't know will bear fruit or not. At least better than 100% have to pay cash as Cose wanted me to.

how to check car's warranty ar?

My warranty ending soon, wanna complain on the noise, problem is the noise come n go so dont know how to show to SC. 

-Sometimes bird/tikus noise from front dashboard, sound like belt noise but im not sure.
-Sometimes Yiiikkk Okkkkk noise from the back on uneven road, or even when entering the car.



Also, my SA told me 3 years warranty when I collect my car, but booklet n Proton say 2 years only.

Got a call from Cose. Car done. Wiring loss at harness thus cannot read. Still did not explain why fuse burned (fuse was replaced by Klang SC before sending to Cose). So still have some doubt as cabling loss at harness causing fuse burnt?. Hopefully, the gear reverse jerk gone and most importantly the pickup strength recover. The mechanic seems a bit unclear while speaking thru phone so have to check physically myself.

Anyway I can only go tomorrow. CoSE open on Saturday?
