Just now on highway, my car suddenly jerk while driving. The mileage odometer stop running, gear indicator become -, speedometer become 0, engine power reduce where it needed higher rev to move. Drive back home. Stop engine and restart still the same.
Shifting gear will jerk no matter at what range.

Can still drive, only higher rev. All indicators still not working as above.

Anyone encounter this? Any idea?

My warranty expired today or tomorrow. SC all closed liao and holiday (Agong birthday) tomorrow and possibly on Monday (they replaced Sat). Called i-Care to check if warranty can still work just after expiry. Say ok but really have to check with SC when I send in on Tuesday. (I already have leave on Monday.....tot can emergency go SC, darn suey.

2 years. Ended either today or tomorrow. Forget what KKW problem is liao....just pray is small matter and can get replacement straightaway. Now not yet time to replaced car, short of cash due to shifting house next year....also waiting for Civic FL (only if US 2013 CIVIC FL brought over with most changes intact including improved suspension, braking system, interior material upgrade and external change).....and still not declared bankcrupt yet. Otherwise forced with live with this car (up to now, only got minor problem, nothing this major yet).

Haih....damn suey, 2 days ago, accidentally kick slightly opened drawer damaging my little toe (still bleeding now). Has to stop my "compulsory" swimming activity....there goes my keeping fit plan, tummy growing.

Then this happen, then this evening while trying to close boot, accidentally scratched the boot door with my key. The first word my wife utter when I told her PE got serious issue.....see I told you, get Proton somemore lar....I got nothing to say this time.

My road tax is 31st May but I think officially, 1st June 2011 exactly like yours.

Thats what I hope like dares mentioned, small case of wiring shortcircuit but if ECU.....now have to worry warranty still valid since can only service on Monday that is on the 3rd although I already reported today at 5.30pm (SC closed liao but pickup call but I don't think my issue logged in today, have to rely on SC interaction with HQ for warranty parts).

hi, wanna ask for opinions here, i seldom drive my persona (2.5 years) and mileage is very low..
Sometimes go for service change oil, gasket and filter feel a bit waste.. I heard that if change to fully synthetic oil, the quality of the oil can last longer.. Is it ok to skip some minor service by using fully synthetic oil?

thanks for the clear explanation, my warranty is just 2 years and expired ady. 2.5 years and mileage is only 16000+km, anyway i still go to Proton SC for service please dun go back proton SC to service since your warranty already expired. I think for future i'll just go to service once every half year using semi oil

or is it possible using FS oil and service once a year?please don't do that, no matter wad, u still need to stick to either the service due date or mileage
