Just bought a Surface Pro at Harvey Norman last Saturday.
Surface Pro 128gb - rm1820 (discounted rm69 bcoz took HN extended warranty) 2 years warranty by HN - rm315 Touch cover 1 - free Type cover 2 - rm409 Screen protector - free
Total damage rm2544.
The touch experience provided by Windows 8.1, Surface Pro and the stylus is just awesome. Wish it has a better battery life though.
P.S. Want to let go the Touch Cover 1 (pink, nib unopened), anyone interested just pm me.

QUOTE(fizyboy @ Mar 18 2014, 02:08 AM) Wahh why got free Touch Cover 1 & Screen Protector?? Discounted somemore...which HN was it? Pavilion. The free Touch Cover 1 was the promotion since Surface 2 announced. The Surface guy said only left 3 units, all pink. As for the Screen Protector, the HN lady simply said "this 1 free for u" during checkout and help me install it

When charging the Surface Pro, I can feel tiny vibration when I move my hand on the back of the device. http://www.surfaceforums.net/forum/microso...n-charging.htmlDoes anyone here have this experience as well?

QUOTE(hkboey @ Mar 24 2014, 05:35 PM) I used to feel this electric statics on my acer laptop eventhough it was a plastic surface. Weird i know but it happened. I see... I guess there's no need to worry then.

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Mar 25 2014, 05:41 PM) GAH! I can't decide between a Surface Pro or Surface 2 RT. GAHHHHHHHHHH If you already have a decent PC and just want to use surface for media consumption, I would suggest S2 because it is lighter, thinner, and longer battery life. Otherwise, SP is more value for money IMO.

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Mar 25 2014, 06:46 PM) I'm looking for a good laptop replacement a nice jump to 8.1. but when I look at my needs at the moment, i wonder if it's really necessary to get the full package since I only need to use like Paint and that would be enough. not really a heavy user, but I would definitely love to play some older games if I could. Go for the Pro version then. You may not need the full blown windows 8.1 at the moment but it's there when you need it. It is a better investment since it can replace your laptop, and more future proof compared to S2.
