thats purely for education cust's only - students nd campus members.
it is a std practice for all edu organisartions to pay a very minimal amount for softwares , and at times h/ware too.

The thread that was opened was by a a person who has a lobang to procure the surface via edu organisation. Technically its not wrong but practically its not right smile.gif

I'm a K12's student but unfortunately my school did not receive the offer from Microsoft. In fact I think only a few educational institution were offered this Surface RT promotion. So I had to find for lobang to join this bulk brows.gif

You can get Surface RT bundled with a touch cover (keyboard). It's cheaper.
For type cover, you need to buy it separately.

You'd need to pay RM1399 for the touch cover bundle

The bundled rt + touch cover is RM1399 and comes in black touch cover only. If you want other colours you will have to buy the rt @ 1099 + 379.

practically i don't think microsoft cares. what microsoft really cares right now is how to get rid of all those unsold surface

im eyeing on windows 8 tablet so but so many choices..surface pre installed with windows office or not? the apps market got any manga reader?

Got Manga Reader, I found a few and tested a few. I'm left with Manga Tree which I think is best. Microsoft Office only comes preinstalled with Surface RT.

Not sure about the Surface Pro but the Surface RT comes with Office Home & Student 2013 RT
