i was surprised too when they told me that Surface Pro is sold out...then i went to the Thundermatch Premium Store and they told me the same thing...
thus my suspicion that they are holding back some stock to ensure that there are stocks available for the weekend crowd...

anyway, might drop down again this weekend to check...

After careful consideration and intensive testing of demo units, I have found surface 2 to be crisp, smooth and loads excel pretty fast, which is my main concern.

I have decided to get one....any idea if the roadshows are still in place?

Anyone updated their surface RT with windows 8.1 update 1. Can give some feedback? Does it make the tablet faster or slower? Any major improvements?

Dear all... I just got my surface 2 on last week and need your advice...
1. Can the surface pro pen be use on surface 2?
2. Any idea where can I get the screen protector? I had tried thunder match outlet and the sales advisor advice me not to buy now because the camera hole cutting is not accurate yet.
3. I notice the camera can't offer zooming features... Or are there any settings need to configure?

Saw it too but so far all my movie codec support on default player.

Highly recommend to get a cover of course but type > touch.

Plenty of touch cover 2 in Pyramid Harvey Norman but no sign of Surface 2 (got demo only) and type cover 2.

I am currently using the Touch Cover .. so far still ok but need to put in some pressure when using it
sometimes. I am now looking for case to protect the unit as well as the screen protector.

What I can find around Low Yat Plaza are those China made Sleeves .. moderate - low quality.

i just got my surface RT brick ... thanks to microsoft update on 8.1 .

Just call up one of the salesperson, she say they have order stock for SP. Need to wait for another 2 weeks. Asking whether they gng have roadshow after that... they dunno yet.
