I tried to use Riva Tuner 2.0 RC15.8 to overclock my AGP 7800GS. I check the driver settings and it says nview.dll, nvshell.dll, nvwdmcpl.dll not found. I can't find the clock frequency tab.

This is kind of weird because when i use it for my old 9600pro, it has that extra tab and fuction for overclocking. I've attached some screen shots thumbnails below. Pls help..





I've already removed the old driver and installed the latest forceware but the problem remains..

This problem same for all 78GS. Use Forceware coolbit.
Wait for the new version of rivatune.

mine also dun hav that file.. but can oc worr...if u wanna mild oc, u can use coolbits

happens to my 7600gt too, maybe wait for RC16 to fix it

btw.. it shows that it cant detect ur specs for d gc.. mayb it has messed up wit ur last time gc... mayb u need to clea it usind drvier cleaner pro

I tried to use driver cleaner pro to clean all my previous GC driver. I even uninstall, clean and reinstall the current card and driver.. Still cannot..
The RivaTuner Low Level System tweak only show one AGP tab. No clock frequency and etc tab.. I also can't see how many pipelines in my card. Is my card faulty?

Well, you can refer from a thread of guru3d.com which i pasted here.

Enabling 7800GS detection in RivaTuner

I tested with my Leadtek 7800GS and it works.

I thought my 3Dmark05 is quite low compare to other user. I got 5468 at stock speed. May I know ur 3Dmark05 score since we use same card?

20GBmaster 60GBslave HD.

Aiks!!! I tot core was 375??!!

275 during 2d mode, open and game then run riva tuner again.
on 3d mode it's going to be 375/1200.

I think your cpu is limiting the score in 3d mark.

no benchies done for me yet.

btw, my 6800xt (16pp,6vp)@420/850 got 4.9k 3dmark05, your score seems fine, im with athlon xp 3000+.
