Things you need to do now. Believe me, i have experience.
1) Pray
2) Read and understand (google) the type of cancer your mum having.
3) Read and make sure what are the best treatment your mum case.
4) Discuss with doctor the best treatment and question them based on what you understand in Internet.

Tips: If the cancer can be removed by surgery, it is the best. (Discuss with doctor)

Early stage 4 cancer still have chances to recovered/cure.
