so your 17-55mm become 24mm f2.8 prime?

btw if go those ex-nikon technician repair, will cheap alot ma?
*

i mount it on my tripod, and suddenly it slowly tilt and fall down, lens first..
luckily it was in my room; it fell down lens first to the carpet..

lens is okay can still autofocus but the barrel stuck at 24mm.. hahaha

but since now using Fx i think will keep it for esthetic value only loh~
sweat.gif the guy that quote me that price only manage to tell me
"we are basically changing everything from the barrel to the autofocus motor, we will just keep the glasses"

so why the hell; stays in the shelves~

it seems is aperture blade mechanism is stuck! lol.. i run through every aperture and find out at that the problem starts after it hit F5 and above. so i press aperture preview button throughout the aperture range and somehow it works.. now can get a normally exposed photo..  laugh.gif  but damn unreliable lor if keep happening.. sigh.

for me i use 85mm as portrait and tele streets, 35mm for normal streets.. 50mm i found out too in between for streets ( for me ) .
*
i packed my 85mm for portrait but its too close sometimes.. need 135mm maybe hahaha

but for street, i just go with tele-zoom most of the time

maybe the 18-35 f1.8 is a good tele-zoom for street (crop body)

you can always buy a cheap meike or yongnuo LED ring flash for RM100+.
but for under rm1k, i prefer the 40mm over the older tamron SP90 cos better colors...
also can look for the older 60mm AF-D if u want abit more working distance.
*
yup, i would suggest 60mm also.. very nice colors from the lens line..
