Hey guys, just ordered a D600 which is going to arrive next month. Gonna need a lens with that lol.
I'm looking for a fast tele prime with good AF speed.

How are the 85mm range ? Looking at 85 f/1.8 D and G.
Which one will u guys recommend ?

Thanks !

I'll still be using my canon. Not switching, just going dual system.
I got the d600 for a very very good price lol.
That's why I want specific lens focal range since I'm missing those range on my canon system.

Any PC-Sync port add-on you guys recommend ?
Pretty depressing to find that a fullframe D600 is lacking a PC Sync port...

i think you're talking about the A/V port? it should be in rectangle shape in the port there

Nope, talking about the PC Sync port.
PC here is Prontor-Compur and not personal computer.
Used to sync with flashes/Strobes.
As I do not own any nikon flashes, it need the sync port to trigger my strobes/flashes via radio triggers.

The port is circular

Just came back from a shoot with the D600 and 85 f/1.8g.
I shot with both the D600 and 5D2. I am very impressed by the sharpness and dynamic range.
Not so much the white balance or sooc colours, but the sharpness and dynamic range more than compensate for it.
