QUOTE(Pmc @ Jul 8 2013, 09:03 PM) haha.. if u have macro lens.. yes u can shoot everything.. but for my rig abit limited to small2 thing. lol. i will jump one if the spider move.. so normally i will stare at them, make sure they are not aggressive then only shoot. One day when I have the money maybe I can invest in a real 105mm macro. I was a bit shocked that real macro lens can actually be used to shoot normal stuffs as well haha, which is a very good thing to me Haha, very impressive la your work (if you are scared of spiders) since you managed to take a lot of photos of jumping spiders, which jump around alot haha XD

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Jul 9 2013, 10:55 AM) so fast, my savings deplete again thanks to PC spoil after 7 years oh well at least this PC should be enough to process 12-36mp photo in future I was just wondering. What governs the ability for a PC to process (or load) a 36MP RAW photo? Will it definitely be laggy? Even my maxed out M14x R1 has problems (lags occasionally) processing the 36MP photos from the D800, RAW ones, of course Its still sluggish especially with alot of editing, and using SSD didn't help

QUOTE(Agito666 @ Jul 10 2013, 11:10 PM) i just now put D800 raw file in my PC. can edit smoothly like my old rig with my D70s raw file what... That's nice to hear Still smooth after you have put in a lot of Spot Removal? It tends to get really laggy in group shots which requires alot of pimple healing for me

Was busy working in the institute today and see what came out of the woodwork~ Nikon D40x by PF T.J., on Flickr Yeah, not exactly the oldest out there (launched 2006), but for someone like me who have just started, it sure feels great to be able to hold and use an older-generation DSLR So much have changed over the years... but that "Nikon Feeling" is never lost

QUOTE(amduser @ Jul 12 2013, 01:43 PM) it is good for carrying around and their screen is awesome!!! but for semi-gamer like me i still prefer desktop + windows with a 30" LCD TV How about the upcoming Illegear 13" with Haswell i7, Nvidia GTX765M, FullHD IPS, and full customizability (HDD/SSD/Wirelless cards/RAM/etc.)?

QUOTE(amduser @ Jul 12 2013, 05:53 PM) Illegear is the same with Sager right? it is actually from clevo i'm using my 4 years old Sager NP8662 running 24/7 and still working fine but nowadays i'm not that much on laptop after graduate from college, so better get a desktop and huge ass screen, watch pron also more syok Yaya you are right! Its a re-branded Sager/Clevo, now officially in Malaysia with official warranty support (some on-site) Agreed, desktops sure better if you have the space and not moving around much anymore *Screen too big, neighbour very easy to see your prawns XD XD

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jul 12 2013, 08:51 PM) Sounds interesting, what's the price like? Its not out yet haha, but should be within this month or the next The rumoured base model should be RM4k, probably with i7-4700MQ, Nvidia GTX765M, Full HD IPS screen, 500GB HDD, 8GB RAM, backlit keyboard. Of course, we Illegear, you can customize everything And not to mention you can also opt for custom paint jobs on the lid with real metallic paints used for premium cars Updated! Its out already: http://store.illegear.com/illegear-laptops...-re-13-pro.htmlSorry for off-topic This post has been edited by [PF] T.J.: Jul 13 2013, 10:13 AM
