A person would need to be called up by the State's Bar and convert it to equivalent here

It should be there explaining how one could get admitted to the bar.

As long as you score well in your LSATs and manage to get a reputable university to accept you ( Think Stanford, University of Chicago since Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Brown and etc are damn hard to get into unless you are super genius and know the right people )

And to be called up to the Bar without CLP, you must be called up to Bar somewhere else in order for them to allow you to practice it in M'sia.

As I said, the closest chance you have would be have the state's bar exam to be recognized as equivalent to Malaysian bar and be allowed by the board to practice in Malaysia.

It's a slim chance but nevertheless, it's a chance still.

It's all easily available if you bother to contact LPQB and ask them directly.

They are the one most qualified to give you an affirmative yes or no.

I called them directly few times.

They usually get back to me within the stipulated time.

Why would you want to study law of all things in the US though? Different legal system and it takes more years since its a post-graduate degree. It's worth it for them because lawyers get paid very well over there. To invest that much to come back to the relative peanuts they pay here is probably the worst decision ever.

I dont think she has a choice though,think:u got a jpa mara offer to study in US,well lots of things are already being sponsored up to ur degree later,why would anyone wants to forgo the chance,well yeah she can do in local uni but an opportunity like that doesnt come easily.wait a question for the person who get the scholarship,is this the jpa mara scholarship because if it is,law is under social science,how are u so sure u can secure a place for law?or u can pick is it,btw u should go for it.
